We’ve taken the difficult decision to close Timespan temporarily over the winter season from Friday 27th November. Timespan’s long-term sustainability will benefit from this temporary closure and we’ll be in a stronger position for 2021. 

With robust health and safety measures in place, we’re continuing to run YASS! Clubs in person and will welcome the kids back for their film and book clubs on Friday. Until the public health situation has stabilised, we can no longer accept new kids who don’t attend Helmsdale Nursery and Primary School. 

Our knitting ladies have had knitting mania in lockdown, and we’ll be sharing their work, along with local hand-crafted ceramics, textiles and prints from our online shop, which will make ideal Christmas pressies 
We really appreciate everyone who’s supported and visited us since reopening and have loved the engagement with our online and outreach programmes. Our programmes will continue online and at village doorsteps, and our YASS! Clubbers can have full building takeover on Fridays! We hope we can welcome you all back soon.
