Timespan, a cultural organisation on the East Sutherland coast, is seeking a Director/Curator to run this innovative, award-winning centre. Timespan is based in the attractive village of Helmsdale and consists of a museum, gallery, archive, workshop space, shop, café and garden. We are looking for a person to continue our research and civic driven programme integrating heritage and contemporary art. We are very much community based and you will be working with an experienced Board of Directors, an inventive team and dedicated volunteers. Timespan was a finalist for the world’s largest museum prize, the Art Fund Museum of the Year 2021.
This is an exciting opportunity for a director/curator to drive forward the organisation and maintain its sustainable growth as a sector leader.
Salary: £30,000 – £39,000 per annum pro rata (commensurate with experience)
Hours: 4-5 days per week negotiable
