Positioned on the A9 halfway between Inverness and John O’Groats, Timespan is a lovely venue offering a contemporary and versatile location for meetings, wedding parties, conferences, workshops, dinners and receptions. Attached to the former Toll House and situated beside the Telford Bridge across the River Helmsdale, Timespan offers a unique and stunning setting for your event.

We have a range of spaces equipped with advanced technology and can provide a variety of catering options to suit every budget. We have the capacity to hold up to 100 people for a drinks reception; up to 60 for conference delegates and our cafe holds up to 40 sit-down covers.

Timespan has free parking, and Helmsdale is well serviced by public transport through its train station and bus stop. We’ve got a wealth of experience in technical and practical matters and lots of local knowledge to help make organising your event a whole lot easier.
