· Timespan will take a commission of 35% on all salesIn conjunction with the Winter Salon opening, Timespan will host a discussion event on 22 November exploring what it means to make work in our northerly location. BOUNDARY LINES: What is our Local? Where is its edge? will include short presentations by a range of artists and others working in the creative sector in Northern Scotland and offers a convivial opportunity to meet with other artists working in the North.Artists are also invited to create a profile on Artlands North, an online space allowing visitors to explore the creative landscape of Scotland’s Far North and discover the work of artists and makers practicing in this area. All work must be submitted ready to display and labelled clearly on the back with name, address and price. If you are submitting a film piece please send us a digital file and include running time and title in your email.
Work which is unsold will be available for collection from 13th January 2015 during Timespan’s public opening hours (Tues 2pm-4pm | Sat & Sun 10am-3pm). All work should be collected no later than 1st February 2015. If you are unable to collect your work in person, we can arrange for it to be returned by courier but you must cover the cost of this service. All work will be insured while on display, but we can’t take responsibility for your work in transit.
