Timespan Youth Library is reopening! Join us for the launch of the new space on Saturday September 9th at 3pm. For the occasion, children and young people are invited to come along to decorate the Youth Library with colourful stickers and drawings, enjoy face painting, cupcakes and soft drinks!

With over 350 books for everyone age 3 to 17 years old, the library reopens in a re-designed space located at Timespan’s second entrance with a colourful reading space for children and teenagers to enjoy the books. Crafted with insights from the YAAS squad, it’s a peaceful place where kids can unwind, explore, and dive into the enchanting world of words.

An online catalogue will also be available on Timespan’s website.

Initiated by Timespan in 2022 and brought to life by the dedication of Youth workers Fenella and Heather, the cataloging and relocation is curated by students Beth Gordon and Victoria Smith, and it is generously supported by the Lottery Community Fund.

Starting September 9th, the youth library will warmly welcome you every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, from 2 to 5 pm, offering an array of reading choices.
