Join us at 4pm for the screening of the award-winning documentary “The Oil Machine” (2022) directed by Emma Davie. This film explores our economic, historical, and emotional relationship with fossil fuels by examining the conflicting imperatives surrounding North Sea oil and gas. 

The screening will be followed at 5:30pm by a discussion on energy transition with James Marriot, a key contributor to the film, co-author of “Crude Britannia” (Pluto Press, 2021), and member of Platform London.

From 6:30pm our Friends of Timespan will be hosting a Quiz Night at the River Cafe. Come along and test your knowledge while enjoying a fun night out!
