The Cultural Institution and The Climate Crisis: Farah Ahmed
Friday 3 May 2019
7PM

Farah will be exploring the role of the arts in shaping our understanding of the environmental crisis, through telling the stories of our shared histories and visions for our futures.
Farah Ahmed is a creative facilitator and producer, whose interests lie in the connections between climate and social justice and platforming marginalised narratives in the cultural and environmental space. She works at Julie’s Bicycle, a charity working at the intersection of art and environment, where she supports the delivery of events, profiles the work of the artists and organisations in the Julie’s Bicycle network, and manages the alumni of the Creative Climate Leadership training programme.
Farah is an alumni of the peer-led accelerator programme Enrol Yourself, where she developed a portraiture project exploring climate grief, mental health and activism.
