These two training days include a full set of instructionals on how to get the best out of your mobile phone camera as a filmmaking tool. With the right skills and accessories you will be guided by Scottish filmmaker, Robert Aitken (director/producer of The Dreaming Bog), through these masterclass tips and secret tricks to improve your mobile phone filmmaking skills and help you create stunning results.

• From the ground up mobile phone filmmaking training
• Easy to understand tutorials
• Cinematic photography and filmmaking covered
• Poetics in filmmaking
• Camera movement techniques without expensive equipment

What’s Covered in the ‘Intermediate’ training day

• Micro script & storyboard development
• Exploring poetic-voice and film-style in filmmaking
• Eco & Geo-poetics
• In-App editing
• Adding audio, music and voice over 
• Adding titles and credits 
• Colour grade & final output

What do I need to attend
You don’t need any specific technical skills to attend these training days. You are encouraged to bring your mobile phone with you. For those attending the ‘Intermediate’ training day you will be asked to download a free App and other files prior to attending. We will send you full details prior to the training date.

Both training days are aimed at, and open to, all levels of mobile phone camera user.

1. If you are unfamiliar using your mobile phone camera App. please do not purchase additional items specifically to attend these training days.
2. If you are new to smartphone filmmaking it is suggested that you attend the ‘Beginners’ training day first before attending the ‘Intermediate’ training day.
