Thursday 13 February 2025
From 6:30 pm to 7:45
Join us and Glasgow Zine Library as we explore the Gaelic language and the legacy of place names. We will examine their intrinsic value in helping us understand climate change, land use, and colonialism, as well as the Gaelic folklore that inspires climate justice zine-making and community action.
This session will include examples from East Sutherland and Glasgow and will be hosted by Jacquie Aitken, Digital and Heritage Curator at Timespan, Helmsdale.
This event will take place online
Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can, book here: http://glasgowzinelibrary.com/…/2/13/preserving-a-place
