Digital Heritage At Home: Collecting Climate and Colonialism
Thursday 26 February 2026
7-8.30pm, Online
Join us for a closer look at digitised objects in Timespan’s museum collection to explore climate justice, colonialism in the Highlands, and environmental change in North Sea Beatrice, Kildonan, and The Flow Country. Learn how 3D models are made (photogrammetry, scanning, virtual reconstructions) and why they’re an invaluable tool for preservation and education.
This event is brought to you by Timepsan and the University of St. Andrews, two of the partners in the EU digital heritage project HERITALISE.
