Julia McGhee has been the Dancer-in-Residence for Serendipitous North. She ran dance sessions for all ages as part of a creative dance project combining dance, storytelling and singing.

Julia, for the duration of her residency, had ran once a week sessions at the Primary School during the day and evening sessions for adults (and older adults), creating a dance inspired by the mythic selkie stories, and culminating in a public performance.

Julia also worked with contemporary dancer Lucy Boyes, choreographing a new work for a solo dancer which Lucy performed as part of the final performance.
